Lake Miltona Statistics: 5,838 acres · 105 ft. depth
Rated in the top 7 Muskie Lakes by Minnesota Sportsman Magazine 2002.
The lakes structure includes steep drop offs, deep holes, flats, submerged islands and long points. Weed growth ranges from 2 to 20 feet due to the lakes clear water. Submergent weeds include: pond weed, cabbage, coontail and celery. The lake bottom is composed of sand, rubble and muck. The lake is stocked with 800 fingerlings every other year. Muskies have a great growth rate due to the abundant forage base, including tullibee, white sucker and perch. The opportunity exists to catch 40-50 lb. class fish, with 30 lb. fish being the most common class.
I am willing to provide guide service on many other lakes throughout the state.
